In the morning, the tide rolls out. The living room fills with golden light through the windows that face the bay, and Houlgate beach unfolds at your feet, ten metres from the door. That's the spirit of this duplex apartment on the Norman seafront: living at the pace of the sea, without having to look for it.
On the ground floor, the open-plan living area looks onto the Roland-Garros promenade. The lounge has a smart TV (Netflix, Disney+, Canal+ Live, Amazon Prime) and high-speed fibre Wi-Fi, ideal for remote work or evening films. The kitchen — oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave — is built for cooking the produce from the covered market, 550 metres away. The dining area faces the sea. A first bedroom with double bed and private shower room (walk-in shower, vanity unit) completes the ground floor.
Upstairs, a spiral staircase leads to the second bedroom — more intimate, with two single beds, perfect for children or friends. A bathroom with bathtub, vanity and washing machine rounds off the sleeping area.
Houlgate is a preserved Belle Époque resort, family-sized and classified "Station verte". From the windows you see the FFVL-rated kitesurfing and windsurfing spot; fifty metres away, the century-old carousel and L'Instant Plage — the only beach bar on this stretch of coast. Linen is provided, free street parking around the building. Cabourg is ten minutes by car, Deauville twenty, Honfleur thirty-five, and the Pays d'Auge at your doorstep.

« Charmant petit duplex, avec une magnifique vue sur la plage d'Houlgate. L'accès se fait par des escaliers assez étroits. La deuxième chambre est également desservie par un escalier (à prendre en compte si vous avez de jeunes enfants). Les rues commerçantes de Houlgate sont proches. Il y a eu un problème de coupure de réseau de Free, Clément a réglé le problème en proposant une autre connexion le temps de la réparation. »
